Torre Caja Madrid stands at the North end of Paseo de la Castellana within the site of the old training ground of Real Madrid Football Club. The new tower was designed by Sir Norman Foster and stands along side three other office towers also designed by internationally renowned architects. The building will provide a total of 110,000 sq m and will be 250m high, comprising 44 floors above ground and five subterranean levels for car parking, making it the tallest building in Spain. Each of the office floors are rectangular with panoramic views across the north and south of Madrid.

The building is due to be completed at the end of December 2008. Watts has been contracted by the client for the technical auditing and monitoring of the project up to November 2008. Watts is also contracted to carry out arbitration work should this be required. Watts will monitor the progress of the design, procurement, construction and health and safety of the remaining construction works.

The building can accommodate 4,000 people and each of the office floors will have an area of approximately 1,550 sq m. There will also be an auditorium seating 280 people.
