Watts was initially appointed to undertake a due diligence exercise on Commercial Quay. The report assisted the client in their purchase of the building. Watts then acted as lead consultant, designer, contract administrator and CDM coordinator on the alteration and refurbishment of four vacant office suites. This included installing Landlord's base build air-conditioning in the suites, linked to the existing chilled water risers.
The client purchased the property in September 2006 and appointed Watts to assist with the acquisition. Four of the current office spaces were unoccupied and required refurbishment, including air conditioning to be installed into the vacant suites. The client, through their asset managers, also requested that all suites be refurbished to Grade
A standard.
